2008 Wildwood Events:
We continue to develop a strong relationship with the wonderful staff of the Wildwoods Convention Center in Wildwood, NJ. The enthusiasm of their staff extends beyond the employees to the hotels and restaurants in the area. Our events reflect the same attitude evidenced by everyone you will run into during your stay at the South Jersey Shore - our goal of providing the finest wrestling in the finest venue anywhere, bar none. Wildwood, NJ is a people-friendly locale that is hosting a people-friendly series of wrestling tournaments in the finest wrestling venue in the world. Nowhere else in the world can you wrestle while viewing the power of the ocean lapping up literally at your doorstep. You will most certainly leave New Jersey with the impression that the Wildwoods Convention Center is the finest facility that your wrestling family has ever wrestled in. A key facet of our relationship with the Wildwoods Convention Center has been their relationships with the merchants in Wildwood that are providing housing, restaurants and fun things to do. We enjoy a special relationship with all of these merchants due to the efficiency of having the Convention Center represent the interests of the tournament, the town and the wrestling families that attend our events. One of the aspects featured through this relationship is the wrestling-oriented amenities offered by the hotels. You can make your stay easier by staying at any one of several Official War at the South Jersey Hotel. By making your reservations through the Convention Bureau, you can receive tournament discounts on rooms that will ensure an enjoyable stay at the South Jersey shore. Some people are already booking rooms for our 2007 events. Be sure to contact the Convention Bureau's housing coordinator, Joy Kelley-Nielsen. Ms. Kelley-Nielsen and the rest of the staff at the Convention Bureau were key elements in the success of past Wars at the South Jersey Shore, and will continue to be key elements in all of our future success.
